ANYWAY. This is my Silent Hill (MOVIE) Dahlia Gillespie costume I wore at Sakura Con '08. Not THAT many photos were taken, so I don't seem to have any right now where my hair was still holding up well. XD' I literally had my hair DOUSED in baby powder. LOTS. At least I smelled nice. XD' By this time it was shaking out towards the ends, which...looks sort of cool, but not what I was aiming for.
I also had tons of fabric on - WOW that cape was a chore. XD''''' Putting it together was a perfectionist's nightmare, too. I did my best to make it accurate. Couldn't find green brocade to my liking, so I drew a pattern on myself with fabric markers. XD'
The thing that was the most difficult for me was those NAILS. It was fun, but MAN were they long! I couldn't do too much of anything with them. XD' Never worn fake nails, and so I went for ones, naturally, that were extra long.
